Awards

We always knew we were on to something good, because we kept reordering wine!

Nonetheless, it was very flattering to receive top honors from Restaurant Hospitality magazine in their '03 Annual Best Wine List in America Competition in the Short List category. Founded in 1919, RH is probably the most widely read and respected foodservice industry magazine.

We are also honored to receive once again Wine Spectator magazine's '04 Award of Excellence, which recognizes the quality, depth and commitment of our wine program.

Sante Magazine, another trade publication, also honored us in '03 with an Excellence in Wine Hospitality award in Fine Dining.

We're very proud of all of these awards, but must give thanks to our adventurous clientele and patrons, who will drink virtually anything served in a wine glass! In all seriousness, Ann Arbor's passion for Italian wines has not only sustained our wine program, but made it a tremendous amount of fun as well. We raise a glass and toast "salute!" to you!

Since 1984, Paesano Restaurant & Wine Bar has received numerous national and international awards, as well as public and industry recognition, for it’s wonderful Italian Wine List. Wine Director, Erin Zitka is behind much of this success. Here is a list of those accolades:
