Tara Ufer

Come into Paesano on any given day, and you might be graced at the hostess stand by the presence of one of our more mischievous and spunky hostesses, Tara Ufer.

Tara has been at the restaurant for quite some time, but her father has been a regular for most of her life (and is, I might add, a huge fan of our chicken noodle soup). She also is but one of five sisters, so if you think you’ve seen her around town, maybe you have, maybe you haven’t! If her last name sounds familiar and you still can’t place it, that may be because her grandfather was a rather well-known University of Michigan football announcer in a career that spanned five decades. In this town, that means she has quite the legacy to live down!

Don’t worry, though… her sweetness can disappear in an instant during a field hockey game. That’s right; under her coy demeanor lies a college field hockey career that has spanned three states (including Ithaca in New York and the College of Charleston in South Carolina). She currently plays on a club team to keep in shape (we don’t let her seat tables at faster than 10 miles per hour).

Currently studying Corporate Communication at Eastern Michigan University, we wish Tara the best of luck in her endeavors both scholastically and here at the restaurant. And if her charm doesn’t get her by, she can always keep a field hockey stick behind the seat of her car...
