Paesano's is pleased to be hosting a fundraising dinner for the Arbor Opera Theater!
Arbor Opera Theater was founded as a community non-profit organization in 1999 to produce full operatic productions, chamber operas, educational programs, and vocal recitals. Their goals are to provide exciting programming that will inspire enthusiasm for opera and to nurture developing artists who need professional performance experience. We encourage community members of all backgrounds to become more deeply involved in opera by participating in productions or joining their board or the Arbor Opera Guild. Taking her cue from the opera's setting in Sevilla, Spain, Chef Isabella has crafted an awesome, six course menu that draws on Spanish regional cuisine. Our wine director, Chaad Thomas, has selected the perfect Spanish wines for each course: uno: pescaito frito (mixed, fried seafood) con Premartin Fino Sherry dos: huevos a la Flamenca (egg, ham, onion and tomato roasted in souffle dish) con '06 Martinsancho Verdejo tres: rabo de toro (oxtail stew with millefoglie pastry) con '04 Coto de Hayas Campo de Borja Crianza quatro: ajoblanco de almendras con pasas (chilled bread & almond soup) con '06 Martinsancho Verdejo cinco: cerdo relleno de queso y fruta secas (cheese and fruit stuffed pork) con couscous de verdura (vegetable couscous), con '03 Loriņon Rioja seis: torrijas (fried bread spiced with cinnamon and sugar) con '05 Gutierrez de la Vega Muscat "Costa Diva" We hope that you'll join in us in support of this important organization and enjoy an evening of great food, great wine, and stirring, live vocal performances!
