Contrary to what many people think, it doesn't take a lot of time cooking risotto, twenty minutes at the most. BUT, you need to follow directions judiciously, otherwise you won't get the combination of creaminess and crunchiness that we all love about risotto!" "As you can see from the recipes here, you can make risotto with whatever you wish. Just remember that you need to judge when to add the additional ingredients (basically risotto is rice slowly cooked in wine and broth) depending on whether they are raw or cooked to achieve the best results.
