Meet Chef Isabella! Paesano's
is proud to have an acclaimed Executive Chef in our kitchen – Isabella
Nicoletti. Chef Isabella hails from Trissino, a small village outside of
Venice in northern Italy. There,
she discovered her love for cooking as a small child helping her mother
prepare the family meals. She
went on to learn the art of Italian food preparation at the Istituto
Alberghiero Professionale Di Stato Culinary Institute in Recoaro Teme,
Italy. For
the next 12 years, beginning with Chef Paolo Cracco as an
apprentice at the famed Trattoria Alla Compagna in Trissino, Italy,
Isabella continued to develop her
culinary skills at several acclaimed restaurants throughout the region.
Then, in 1995, Isabella brought her talents to the United States
where she
began her stateside career as the Executive Chef of Stelline Restaurant
in Troy, and later at the Southfield Tuscan Grill as Executive Chef. She
joined the culinary team at Paesano's in 1998 and has been creating "home
grown" rustic Italian dishes since.
Many of her dishes focus on seasonal specialties, and represent true
authentic food preparations found in Italy today.
Her talents are the inspiration behind the development of our
menu and the evolution of the true Italian experience here at Paesano's.
